7:30am: not caffeinated, walking to the coffee shop, ideas from the night slowly transitioning from formless dreams to realistic ideas
8:00am: first sip of tea, sitting in the coffee shop, switching between windows on my laptop screen, trying to decide where to start into the work
8:15am: maybe caffeine is already working, but I don’t notice it, about a third finished with my tea, into the work now, taking sips absent-mindedly
8:30am: I get excited about a particular piece of writing, oh, this is good, open a blank doc, paste it in, elaborate
8:45am: conscious of the caffeine high now, realizing that’s what gets me excited, I glance at the clock, calculating how long I have left with the high
9:00am: finish my tea, consider ordering another, continue writing new material, start to think I should return to working on what I originally planned to
9:15am: initial high transitions to plateau, still at an elevated mental state but getting used to it, thinking more clearly and organized instead of just ecstatic creativity
10:30am: hungry but aware that eating finishes the high, so I press on a little longer (caffeine high sometimes combines with a delirious hunger high if I press on too long)
11:00am: close my laptop, walk down the street to the cafe to order a smoothie and sandwich
11:15am: go to the gym to work out the rest of the caffeine high physically
Mmmm... caffeine...
