The simplicity of coaching cross country
A high school cross country team was running on the paved path in the park.
Two coaches were standing beside the path, clapping their hands and shouting:
“Run faster!”
“Come on!”
“Faster!”
“Run faster!”
“Come on!”
“Faster!”
“Run faster!”
In the climbing world, we have something similar. When someone is stuck on a difficult problem, we often yell: "Just go up!"
