What separates a dream from reality
During the best part of the dream, I knew two things: that it was not real and that it would end. But doesn’t the truth of the second imply that the first is false? If it can end, isn’t it real? If it can end, then it must have begun. And if it began, then it must have been—at least until I awoke. It was real, before I awoke. She really did love me, before I awoke.
