you could always yank your arm out. might hurt and might leave some scars but then you would be out of the bush

Yea. Thought about that. Just cauterize the wounds and move on. But then I would think ... what if I had gone deeper into the bush? And I have a habit of reaching in for berries anyway, so I'd probably end up back in the bush sooner than later. There's fear involved. You get deeper in. More berries. More thorns stuck in. No right answer, I guess. End up with a bunch of scars and still running around the garden. Or you're stuck in gorging on berries. The real bad outcome would be getting stick in and no berries. Or the berries get sour. Then you gotta yank yourself out with a lot of thorns in. Very painful.

Haha. Yea, identify true desires first. Then you realize some of them conflict. So you have to prioritize and sacrifice.
