Living in the moment brings me a lot of peace too. You've probably already read it, but there's a book by Eckhart Tolle called "The Power of Now." I highly recommend it.
And that's a great point about the digital vs. real world. Things move so fast and there's so much to grab our attention and pull us away from the present in the digital world. You start scrolling and ten minutes pass before you even realize. The real world is the world that so many years of evolution have prepared us to live in. It's more natural for our minds and bodies than the digital world.
Yes, I've heard of "The Power of Now," but I haven't read it yet. I just read "Be Free Where you Are" by Thich Nhat Hanh and it was amazing. I wonder if you've read any of his books before? You can feel the love and peace in his words.
That's beautiful. It's something I've also been thinking about lately, living in the moment. It brings me the most peace, and lasting peace as well.
It feels so different, switching from the "digital world" to the "real world," noticing things I didn't before, and time itself seems slower.
Thank you for this moment of thought 😊
Thanks for the comment!

I have read some Thich Nhat Hanh. I totally agree about his words giving those feelings.
